Questions Concerning "The Twelth Night"

I don't have six questions, for now. However, the questions I do have are:
1- How did Olivia's brother and father die?
2-Why does Toby feel Andrew should pursue Olivia if he is basically seen as a "bum?"
3-Why does Viola wish to "work with" Olivia and then Orsino? Why is she so desperate that she portrays herself as an Eonuch?

    2. Toby strongly encourages Andrew to pursue Olivia because they are drinking buddies. If Andrew married Olivia Toby could use this to his advantage.

    if she works with orsino, she'll be dressed like a man to be "part of a group" because women alone were unprotected and couldn't get jobs. so if she was part of the crew, she'd have a place to live, food to eat and be protected. since she isn't with her brother, it's harder for her as a woman
